4.6Private Utilities <br />Staff has not yet met with the telephone, gas, and cable utilities regarding this project. If the City <br />Council approves the preparation of Plans and Specifications,staff will meet with the private <br />utility companies to discuss the proposed improvementsas noted in the project schedule within <br />this Report. The alignment of streets,sidewalksand pathways will beconsidered to minimize <br />impacts to private utilities.No impacts to power poles are anticipatedwith this project. <br />Should anyof the utility companies indicate that they wish to upgrade, replace and/or otherwise <br />modify their services during this project,any suchupgrades, replacementsand/ormodifications <br />will be at the sole discretion and cost of the privateutility. <br />City staff will contact Xcel Energy to see if they would like to bury any of their overhead lines <br />with this project. <br />4.7Permits <br />Permits that are anticipated to be required as part of the proposed improvements include: <br />MPCA General Stormwater Permit(NPDES).....Grading and Storm Water <br />LRRWMOPermit................................................WMO Stormwater Permit <br />Met Council..............................................Sanitary Sewer Extension Permit <br />4.8Right-of-Ways/Easements <br />It is anticipated that all improvements will occur within existing City right-of-waysand/or <br />easements, with the exception of tying into private driveways.However, it is not anticipated that <br />the City will need to acquire any additional right-of-way or easements for this project.
