Mr. Duane Lee Regarding Driveway Onto Thorouqh- <br />fare Street: B. Mr. Donald Walentiny, Storage Of Equipment/Operating <br />Business In An R-1 District; C. Mr. Ed Klemish, Storage Of Equipment/ <br />Operating Business In An R-1 District; And D. Report On Unlicensed <br /> <br />Vehicles): <br /> <br />a) Mr. Duane Lee Reqarding Driveway Onto Thoroughfare Street - <br /> <br />Council consensus is not to take any action at this time and to wait and see <br />what the County is going to do in this matter. <br /> <br />b) Mr. Donald Walentin¥, Storage Of Equipment/Operating Business In An R-1 <br /> District - <br /> <br />For action taken in this matter, refer to Page 8, paragraph 13, of these minutes. <br /> <br />c) Mr. Ed Klemish, Storage Of Equipment/Operating Business In An R-1 District - <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mr. Klemish, who was present at the meeting, that there <br />have been numerous complaints from his neighbors in regards to the trailers <br />parked on his property. Mayor Gamec asked Mr. Klemish if he couldn't remove <br />the trailers or store them in his accessory building. <br /> <br />Mr. Klemish stated that he pays his taxes, he has lived in Ramsey all his life <br />and that his neighbors are not going to dictacte to him what he can keep on <br />his property. He further stated that he is going to stand on the grandfather <br />clause and that he pays commercial taxes on a portion of his property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that Mr. Klemish's neighbors also have rights. <br /> <br />Mr. Klemish stated that he is willing to fight this issue to the end, even if <br />it means going to court. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that even though Mr. Klemish is grandfathered in, <br />he is required to apply for a conditional use permit and Mr. Klemish has refused <br />to do so. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #82-105 directing City Staff to insure that City ordinances <br />in regards to zoning and unlicensed vehicles are enforced.
