he also had heard this same rumor within the last few days. Mr. <br />Nelson said he had not heard anything about this. Mr. Reimann <br />said he had not heard this rumor. Mrs. Oliphant said that there <br />had been discussion on the amount of income Mr. Pittman had re- <br />ceived in 1973 and thought it was too much for a part time em- <br />ployee and there were other remarks but she can't remember what <br />they were or who made them. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox read an article that was on the first page of the Minnea- <br />polis Star called Column I. It was highly inaccurate and untrue. <br />Mr. Nelson stated he thought any statements such as this should <br />be thoroughly checked out first. <br /> <br />Mrs. Oliphant moved all Town Board meetings be recorded and kept <br />on fi]_e for a minimum of one year. Discussion. Seconded by Mr. <br />Hopperstad. Four voted for it and one opposed. <br /> <br />Discussion on hiring an assessor. We will run an ad at this time. <br />This will be discussed at the September 25th meeting at Grow Town- <br />ship. If anyone knows of a person interested in this position, <br />please inform them of it. <br /> <br />Mr. Carson requested a special use permit for a mobile home for <br />another 30 days on Deerwood Plat to be used for a sales office. <br />After 30 days it will be removed from its present location on <br />Lot l, Block I in Deerwood plat. The Building Inspector said he <br />wanted it noted that he was not giving any builder any special <br />considerations. Mr. Reimann moved a special use permit be given <br />Mr. Carson for this mobile home for 30 days. Mr. Hopperstad <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Hagen Addition Roads: Mr. Hopperstad moved that we do not go <br />ahead with assessment on these lots in Countryside Estates plats <br />due to the response of the residents at our public hearing. <br />Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried. Mr. Hopperstad will <br />talk to Mr. Mevissen about drainage on these roads. <br /> <br />Russell Addition: Mr. Hopperstad moved we request the attorney <br />to write Mr. Russell a letter about his committment on these roads, <br />stating that ten days from his receipt of this letter we will go <br />ahead with a feasibility study on these roads by our engineer¥ if <br />we have not had a response from Mr. Russell. Seconded by Mr. Rei- <br />mann. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Sha: Sewer Report. There are two plans~ one provides for 9 <br />people per acres and the second plan is for 6 people per acres. <br />He recommends that we adopt Plan l, the first one. The next step <br />is to pass it on to the Metropolitan Council for their review. <br />He suggests we qualify approval, that this was done in May and <br />since that time we have had some changes in our picture. Before <br />implementation we may want to revise the plan to take into account <br />the changes in boundaries resulting from the incorporation and any <br />other changes that may have occurred in the interim.
