He described what he was doing at this time.
He also explaindd what an administrator could do for this Township.
The cost would be $30 an hour for individual projects or $25.00
an hour for retainer. Best use of his time is to sit through meet-
ings. Mr. Murphy asked him if he could give us a write up on what
he had to offer and why it would work. Would it be possible to get
this outlined in writing? A legal monthly retainer and then guaran-
tee a certain number of projects? Six months contract terminable
in thirty days time by the buyer? He has ~0 hours a month avail-
able at this time but soon he will be having to hire some people.
Mr. Nelson asked if he could provide us with a list of things he
has done, philosophy, first requirement is to stay unpolitical. Mr.
Murphy feels there is some real merit to this idea.

We are going into a full time zoning officer. Mr. Murphy thinks
we should wait until we find out if we are going to be incorporated.
Mrs. Oliphant thinks we should investigate other areas. She was
delegated to look into other agencies.

Dolomite Street: we have sent a letter to Mr. Menkveld about fill-
ing up the hole on this lot. Mr. Cox read the letter from our at-
torney concerning this road. Mr. Pittman was advised not to issue
any permit on this lot as it was declared unbuildable, as far as
the size was concerned.

Harbor Development: Mr. Walquist and Mr. Terpstra were present
concerning, this matter. No application for a marina has been filed
with the state up to this time. The hole there now is about 15 feet
deep and covers about a four acre area which has already been re-
moved. The hole is about 300 feet from the river and in one hour's
time this hole maintains the same level as the river. Mr. Hopper-
stad moved we give Harbor Development a mining permit to go to
April 1, 1975 at which time a permit is to be received from Harbor
Development for this marina with both State and County approval.
Seconded by Mr. Murphy. Motion carried.

Mr. Wayne Shroyer, 5~20 177th Lane N. W.: He wants to have an
alarm system business operating out of his home. Mr. Wilson is
in business with him. They live in the Don Hardle Addition called
Riverwood Hills. There will not be additional traffic at his home
because they call on their customers at their homes. Mr. Hopper-
stad moved we permit this business on the recommendation of the
Planning & Zoning Commission. Seconded by Mr. Murphy. Motion car-
ried.

Mr. William Lyndsley: Wants a variance for a horse barn and cor-
ral at 15952 Potassium St. N. W. He has almost g acres. Mrs. Oli-
phant moved we table this variance until after the horse ordinance
has been passed. There was no second and the motion died.

Mr. Nelson moved we grant this variance subject to any changes
that might be brought about by the passing of the horse ordinance.
Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried.

Mr. Alan Olson: Wants a variance for a temporary horse shelter at
