- ~+ C T.B.~-lS-7~+

15921 Osmium St. N.W. Mr. Nelson moved we approve this request.
Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

Mr. Marvin Luke, 9210 West Highway #10: Wants a variance for two
lots for two houses on Highway No. 10 just north of his own house,
which is on the Mississippi River. Mr. Hopperstad moved that Mr.
Luke request our engineer to check out this matter. Seconded by
Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried.

Mr. Clyde Russell: He came about the roads in Stack Estates Addi-
tion on the east side of the Rum River. Yakima Street slopes south.
A culvert has been in since 1971. Mr. Russell put pit run gravel
on the roads last fall. It had large boulders in it. He has 37
houses in this addition. Four culverts are needed for driveways
on Yakima Street. He was asked how many lots he had left to sell.
He replied there were 15 lots left. Mr. Murphy moved the owners
of homes in this addition be required to put in culverts on drive-
ways on Yakima St. within 30 days. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad.
Motion carried. Mrs. Oliphant moved we assess Mr. Russell for the
material, not to exceed $3,000, and the Township will furnish the
equipment to build this road up to the Township standards. Seconded
by Mr. Murphy. Motion carried.

Mr. Roger Heine, 17950 Vanadium St. N.W., Rodeo Hills Addition: He
objects to Mr. Eldon Hall removing gravel from the lot next to his.
He wants this stopped. Mr. Hall is mining without a permit. Also
the lots across the street from his home seem to be too low to
be buildable. A letter will be written to Mr. Hall about this matter.

Mr. David Voit, 16259 St. Francis Blvd. N. W.: He came to see about
a 10 acre piece of land he had on the north side of 173rd Ave. N.W.
at the end of this road. He sold 5 acres on 173rd Ave. N.W. Now
he has sold the 5 acres north of this piece and it is land locked.
Lengthy discussion on this matter. Mr. Nelson moved we table this
matter until the next meeting pending legal advice from our attor-
ney. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

American Auto Listings: A real estate man representing this com-
pany requested a permit to sell used cars on the land formerly
owned by Castle Homes. Mr. Cox read an article from the paper in-
dicating this company had lost its license in Minneapolis. A mo-
tion was made by Mrs. Oliphant to not grant this permit to sell used
cars to American Auto Listings on the former Castle Homes site be-
cause of the unfavorable publicity. We also have a lot of this type
of business on this highway and we don't need any more. Seconded
by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

Chain Saw: Mr. Murphy said we should buy one.

Fire Contract: Clause #7 on priorities: If two calls involve dan-
ger to human life, there is a state law covering this called "Mutual
Aid." Mr. Hopperstad moved we go ahead with the proposed contract.
Seconded by Mr. Murphy. Motion carried.
