- 2 - T.B.1-21-7~

why anyone would want to put in a road there. Mr. Cox said it
was the Elk River School District that had wanted this road be-
cause it would shorten their route. Mr. Stahlman said there is
a potential for fires from the parties the children have up in
the hills. A culver was put in on this road but it was not put
in by the Township.

Mr. Menkveld is going to build a restaurant on Highway 10. He
still does not have a firm location for this building. They want
to go on record as requesting the Township, if they should become
a village, for a liquor license for this restaurant. It would seat
150 people in the restaurant area. It is 100 feet in diameter and
has 8 sides. We must have a specific legal description of the
land on which it is going to be located before a liquor license
can be O.K.'d. They requested guidelines relative to a liquor
license application.

Carson: Deerwood Plat: Discussion on. the roads. Mr. Cox moved
we accept the preliminary Deerwood Plat in accordance with the
recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the engineer's
reported suggestions, with the exception that this Board will make
an on site inspection of the plat as to the locations of the roads
to the adjoining property on the east and between lot 1 and lot 2
Block 3 or through the proposed park area north of Lot 2 Block 3.
The preliminary plat does not show the future lot division as re-
quired by the ordinance. Mr. Carson will divide these lots as per
the ordinance requirements. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion
carried.

Mr. William Bina, 15240 Willemite St. N.W., requested the cul de
sac at his address be vacated as it is not being used. Mr. Hopper-
stad moved that this cul de sac be removed at 152&0 Willemite St.
N.W. and the vacated cul de sac added to Mr. Bina's lot. The legal
fees for this work will be paid for by Mr. Bina. Mr. Bina asked
Mr. Goodrich to do this work for him. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion
passed.
There is a Weed Inspector's meeting on plant diseases, weeds, etc.
at Twin City Federal on January 23rd. Mr. Eng said he could not
attend this meeting unless we paid him $40.00 for the time he would
take off from work. Mr. Hopperstad said he would attend this meet-
ing.

Mr. Klemish: 169th Lane N.W. in Klemish Addition. Mr. Flores was
present. He is not able to get a loan from Twin City Federal until
this road has been accepted by the Township. On October 22nd the
engineer wrote Mr. Klemish stating the work on this road would have
to be completed by November 30th and passed by the engineer before
this road could be accepted. This was not done and the road there-
fore was not accepted. Some of the people living on this road had
a receipt for cement work done on a culvert. Mr. Klemish said he
had put four loads of gravel on Road "A". The Board said some of
them would go up to look at this road on the following day. Mr.
Fricke, our engineer, will also come out to look at this road on
the following day. Mr. Hopperstad moved that if this road was
