- 2 - T.B.10-15- <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Anderson of NSP was present requesting a special use <br />permit to construct a transmission line across our Township. <br />They will use steel poles across all but the last mile which is <br />mostly in swamp land where they will use the wooden poles. They <br />will not need any additional easements where they use the steel <br />poles. The steel poles will carry two circuits. A public hear- <br />ing was held on this request by the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />on October 1st and granting of this request was recommended by the <br />Commission. Mr. Cox moved we grant a special use permit to NSP <br />to construct this transmission line according to the plan submitted <br />by them. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Resolution with Grow drawn up at a meeting with Grow officials <br />on September 20, 1973 in the Ramsey Town Hall was discussed. Mr. <br />Hopperstad moved we pass this joint resolution on to the <br />Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Vockradt sent us a letter stating that the drainage~problem <br />at 153rd and Highway #47 was fixed. The approach from ~47 needs <br />something done to it at #~7 and #5. They put a decceleration lane <br />at Highway #63 and #47. 1.5)rd should have 20 loads of gravel this <br />fall. We will spend $500 on the old roads in the Russell plat. <br />Class V is needed in Greenland Hills. Merle will look this over. <br /> <br />We received a letter from the St. Anthony Gun Club stating they <br />will be planting trees on the north and east side of the gun club. <br />We will call them to find out when they are going to plant these <br />trees. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we pass the following resolution on building <br />permits and occupancy permits. Be it resolved, that the follow- <br />ing procedure and policy shall be followed in Ramsey Township: <br /> <br />1. ~uil. digg Pe.rmits shall not be issued within any plat in Ramsey <br />Town'ship unI~s's the following minimum requirements have been met <br />as determined bM the Township engineer: <br /> <br /> a. Proper drainage facilities have been constructed which are <br /> designed to convey surface water drainage within and beyond <br /> the limits of the plat to publicly dedicated or controlled <br /> drainage facilities. <br /> b. Ail easements for the drainage facilities as mentioned in <br /> (a) above have been dedicated to the Township. <br /> c. Ail roads shall be graded to final subgrade elevation and <br /> cross-section. <br /> d. A performance bond in an amount determined by the Township <br /> engineer for the remaining required street and utility im- <br /> provements has been provided to the Township. <br />2. Occupancy Permits will not be issued until the gravel base <br /> course material or grav~ surfacing have been placed on the <br />streets in a manner as approved by the Township Engineer and all <br />the requirements noted above for issuance of building permits <br />have been met. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
