- 2 - T.B.2-20-?3 <br /> <br />Dog Ordinance: The Planning & Zoning Commission should take up the <br />matter of kennels at their next stated meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Emmons was present. He told us about a pony which has been <br />tied out all winter without food or water excepting for what he <br />has brought him. This has been referred to the Animal Rescue League <br />and to the Sheriff's office but so far nothing has been done. The <br />League told Mr. Emmons not to feed or water the horse as it did not <br />belong to him. The attorney was asked to check this matter out with <br />the County Attorney and then let Mr. Cox know what he finds out. <br /> <br />Fire Contract: A mechanics lean can be filed against cars for which <br />the fire department is called on the highways. This should be writ- <br />ten into the new fire contract. <br /> <br />Legislation Resolution with Grow Township: Write a letter to the <br />Sheriff's office asking them for the cost quotation on policing in <br />Ramsey Township as previously indicated. Mr. Munns read the reso- <br />lution to the people present. ABC would be a joint resolution. D <br />and E would be for Ramsey only. Mr. Cox moved we seek this resolu- <br />tion. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. Mr. Cox moved <br />we seek limited annexation and a five member board. Seconded by Mr. <br />Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Resolution - Certificate of Occupancy: Mr. Cox moved we establish <br />a Certificate of Occupancy for Ramsey Township. Seconded by Mr. <br />Hopperstad. Motion carried. Mr. Pittman was asked to make up a <br />certificate that would su~t our Township and bring it to the Town <br />Board. <br /> <br />Modular Homes must come in as a complete unit. Mr. Pittman is to <br />have complete authority over any home modular or otherwise that is <br />brought into the Township. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved that Mr. Wahlquist be given a mining permit <br />renewal on the same as he had last year. Seconded by Mr. Cox. The <br />motion was carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. Bertha May Smith: She could not be present this evening but <br />she had brought the legal descriptions on the property for which <br />she had requested a variance at the Previous meeting and at the <br />Planning and Zoning meeting. Mr. Cox moved these three lots be <br />granted the variance requested. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion <br />carried. (Legal copies attached to last page). <br /> <br />Mr. Robert W. Jones requested a variance on land purchased from Mr. <br />Titterud in 1968. Mr. Cox moved this variance be granted. Seconded <br />by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. (Legal copy attached to last <br />page). <br /> <br />Mr. Mapue of Elk River requested a variance on a piece of land of <br />about one acre 100 feet by 29~ feet deep, in Kork's Addition. Mr. <br />Cox moved this variance be granted. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. <br />Motion carried. (Legal attached). <br /> <br /> <br />
