- 3 - T.B.2-20-?] <br /> <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission should take up the matter of the <br />two requests for rezoning from residential to commercial with Mr. <br />Tooker. <br /> <br />Purchase & Lease Back Agreement: Mr. Hopperstad moved we accept <br />the lease back agreement with Menkveld's Country Park drawn up by <br />Mr. Goodrich. Mr. Cox seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox explained to Mr. Dietrich of Caroline Acres about the bill <br />from the engineering firm on work done on his roads. <br /> <br />Mr. Brad Bodle: He brought a petition to have this road blacktopped. <br />He was told the cost would be $22,000 which would be $~.22 per front <br />foot to each property owner. Mr. Bodle thought they would not want <br />to spend this much money and said he would go back and talk to them <br />about having the road oiled instead which would cost much less. <br /> <br />The annual meeting will be at the Tec. Center on March 13th at 8:30 <br />p.m. in rooms 605, 605A and 605B. Election will be the same day at <br />the Town Hall from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />It was decided to get bids to fix up some of the roads that were in <br />much need of this in the Township. 153rd between Hy. #~7 and the <br />river should be done. Mr. Cox moved Consulting Engineers Diversified <br />give us a feasibility report and cost estimate on 153rd east of <br />and west of #&7 to Nowthen Blvd. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Mo- <br />tion carried. <br /> <br />Variolite St. from #63 down to the Gun Club should have some work <br />done on it. <br /> <br />We have received a bill from the Elk River Township for road work <br />in the northwestern part of the Township, for $105.O0. Mr. Cox <br />moved we pay this bill for $105.00 for work done in Ramsey Township <br />by the Elk River Township road crew. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Question about mowing the sides of the road from Mr. Steenerson. <br />Answer sides of road are not mowed excepting for County Highways. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we renew the cigarette licenses for McGregors, <br />DeZiels, Mobil International and St. Anthony Gun Club. Seconded by <br />Mr. Cox. Motion passed. <br /> <br />We should ask Mr. Ed. Fields about a railroad underpass so we can <br />get to a hospital or the fire trucks can come into our township in <br />case a train is blocking the railroad crossings. The secretary was <br />instructed to write a letter about this matter. <br /> <br />We are to advise Mr. Ed. Fields of all of our Township meetings. <br />Send copies of our minutes to Burns Township, and to Mr. Fields. <br /> <br />We are in receipt of a letter from Mr. Steve Scarborough on 8AC <br />charges for the Metro Sewer Board. Mr. Sha explained this matter <br />to all present. At this point we will stay out of it. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox complimented Mr. Murphy on his presentation to the Metro <br />Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
