- 2 - <br /> <br />two areas. Mr. Goodrich said it was a user established road <br />and a constructively dedicated road. This road can be dedicated <br />to the public. The road appears on a county map. Both Elk River <br />and Ramsey Township have spent some money on it. tn 1961 both <br />Ramsey Township and Elk River paid half of the expense of fixing <br />up this road. This road has been in use for 21 years. Mr. <br />Philip Katnis owns the land on the Sherburne side. He said he <br />has pullGd many cars out that have become stuck on this road and <br />he is getting tired of it. Someone put a heap of brush on the <br />road to stop its being used and someone else dug a ditch across <br />the road. Mr. Katnis thinks the road should either be fixed up <br />properly and maintained or closed. He said he~uld like to see <br />this road built up properly and maintained. The road is about <br />a mile long. Mr. Speck and Mr. Katnis~ who own the land said <br />they would be willing to give the land for t.his road so it would <br />be l~. rods wide. Mr. Goodrich said a notice should be sent to a <br />developer along this road that this is a road. <br /> <br />Mr. Scarborough madG a resolution that this road has been <br />termined to be a Township road known as the "County Line Road" <br />and therefore it is open to the public and should be kept open <br />to the public a~d will be improved according to the Township <br />road ordinances after the easements have been determined by the <br />Township Attorney. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich will write to the developer and to the home owner <br />alon~ this road to this effect. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich was asked about the new addition to the dog ordin- <br />ance. He had this dr~ up and presented to the Board for their <br />perusal. One change was made to this~ namely that the innocu- <br />lation for rabies must be effective for the period of the dog <br />license. Mr. Cox moved that this addition and change to the <br />dog ordinance be ~ccepted for the present dog ordinance, geconded <br />by Mr. ~carborough. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Mr. ~eimann read the minutes of the last stated meeting of the <br />?lanning and Zoning Commission meeting. Mr. Scarborough recom- <br />mended that the minutes be accepted as read, by the To~a Board. <br />~econded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> 1 <br />The cost of the platting ordinance copies was 23~ per copy~ <br />It was decided that these would be given out as needed at no cost <br />but only one to a p~rson. <br /> <br />Auto salvage operation across By. 10 from the Tec. Center: Mr. <br />Lorentze~ pleaded not guilty to operating a business without a <br />special use permit. Court hearing will be July 13th. <br /> <br />Strest names: Mr. Goodrich stated Ramsey Township has the right <br />to change street na~es. <br /> <br />Impounding of Cars: Mr. Peterson will check with the fire chief <br />in A~oka about this matter. <br /> <br /> <br />
