Anderson indicated he cut four acres of grass for years, and is now retired. He is looking <br />forward to moving. He stated all the neighbors talk, and the only neighbor he does not see here <br />just built a new pool and put in a new septic system. He indicated he put ~on new siding and a <br />new roof and planned to stay there for 20 more years, but now he is ready to go. <br /> <br />Dave Olson, 15311 Xenia indicated he is just out of the area proposed. He wonders what this <br />means in terms of sewer and water where he is concerned arid asked if he would have to pay for <br />it. <br /> <br /> Associate Planner Geisler indicated only the developer would have to pay for it at this time. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon added it would not be extended as far as <br />Mr. Olson's property. <br /> <br />Tim Galloway, 15430 Sunfish Boulevard stated he sold to Oakwood, mainly because of the 202 <br />townhomes built across the street. He indicated he has seen other Oakwood Land <br />Development's projects and they are done ~ery well, unlike the 202 townhomes across the street. <br />He stated he thinks this is a great opportunity for the neighborhood and Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy to close the public <br />hearing at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Johnson, Commissioners Brauer, Van Scoy, Jeffrey, <br />Shepherd, and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt. <br /> <br />Commission Input <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked if anything has changed from the last discussion in terms of' <br />concerns the Planning Commission expressed. <br /> <br />Assistant Community DevelOpment Director Trudgeon advised there was a joint meeting with <br />the Planning Commission and City Council. He indicated the City Council is still at a work <br />session level in their discussions, but felt the Planning Commission needed to take a leading role <br />in planning sewer expansion in Ramsey. He noted there is a work session on Monday with the <br />City Council that the Planning Commission is invited to attend, where they will talk about this <br />more. He stated he would point out that the trunk line is on Sunfish Lake Boulevard. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski agreed, indicating that is an 18 inch pipe. He stated one thing Staff is <br />saying is the plan does not show extension of that stub, and it should. He indicated the <br />watennain should be looped to the intersection Of Sunfish Boulevard and Alpine Drive. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Johnson asked how far sewer is from the property. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/April 1, 2004 <br /> Page 8 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
