Explain it to them. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gotham, seconded by Councilman Reimann to instruct Consulting <br />Engineers Diversified to draw up a feasibility study to update 153rd Avenue NW <br />between Puma and Armstrong. <br /> <br /> Carried 4 Ayes <br /> <br />c. Mayor Cox reported on a form he was asked to fill out for Environmental <br />Health Services Revenue information. <br />d. Mr. Nereson presented a request for payment from Mr. D. Leikvoll, 153rd Ave.NW <br />between Co. 5 and Hwy 47, a claim for trees removed on Project 75-1. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich to check into the matter and make a recommendation for payment <br />at the next regular meeting. <br />e. Project 76-1 easements. Attorney Goodrich asked for Council direction regarding <br />easements. <br /> <br />Council directed the attorney to proceed and offer $600/acre per land value from <br />the County for easements. <br />f. Request for Pasment 75-1. <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to make final payment in the sum of $2,567.66 <br />to A1Minerath, Inc., for final payment on 153rd Avenue, Project 75-1. <br /> <br /> Carried 4 Ayes <br /> <br />9. Meeting with DNR. Attorney Goodrich reported on a meeting with DNR. <br /> <br />1. starting Oct. 15, we were put into a six-month time table whereby we need to <br />adopt ordinances in conjuction with DNR or EQC. <br /> <br />2. proper procedure would be to recommend whether we are scenic or critical and <br />then commence getting with P & Z and advising where City has leeway for decisions. <br />3. public hearings. <br /> <br />Mr. Martin said the DNR regulations are so much more favorable that EQC and EQC will <br />damage him considerably. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson reports we will be in critical rivers starting tomorrow until something <br />else is adopted. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich said April 15th is the deadline for adding a Section in our Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson said there are funds available that will be disbursed by percentage .to <br />cities for this purpose. <br />h. Personnel Committee-discussion pertaining to taking of Council minutes. <br />Mr. Nereson read a report he compiled on staff time required for taking and <br />transcribing minutes and the cost to the City versus hiring a steno for this purpose. <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Reimann to advertise for a steno to take Council <br />minutes. <br /> <br /> Carried 4 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
