Cooper to a three year <br />term on the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4 Ayes <br /> <br />Councilman Gorham stated that Planning & Zoning and Park Board members terms are to <br />be kept in order by the chairman or secretary of those Commissions. <br /> <br />Community School Advisory Council. Mayor Cox reported that he attended their <br />meeting. He said they were not aware of the fact that the City already has a full <br />time Community School program starting in the Fall and that they indicate they are <br />working toward uniting the community. He said they should keep in mind that their job <br />is to organize the youth in the community. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox reminded Councilmembers that the Advisory Council would like to have a <br />Councilmember attend their meetings. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. bid opening - police patrol car <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson reported that bids were opened on December 20th. Two bids were <br />received. 1) Main Motors $5,398.76 and 2) Art Goebel Ford $5,164.37 and one <br />late bid from Metro Dodge. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson read a memo from Chief Auspos requesting bids be rejected and <br />that rebidding be scheduled for 1/10/77. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Reimann to reject the bids received on December <br />~0, 1976, per the Chief's recommendation. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4 Ayes <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to establish a bid opening date of <br />January 10, 1977, at 5:00 p.m., with Council reviewing the bids at the January <br />lOth Council meeting. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4 Ayes <br /> <br />b. reduction in bond amount - Hall's Dover Acres. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson read a letter from Consulting Engineers regarding Hall's Dover Acres <br />and the status of the roads. Consulting Engr~ are satisfied that the remainder <br />of the work is minor. Mr. Rautio would like the bond reduced to $6,000. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to reduce the bond for Hall's Dover <br />Acres to $6,000 per Consulting Enrs. recon~nendation. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4 Ayes <br /> <br />c. review of off-sale intoxicating liquor license policy. <br /> <br />This item is deferred to be brought up again on January 24, 1977, to allow <br />for input and review by the new Councilmember. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. 1977 MSA Agreements. <br /> <br /> <br />
