Raatikka and <br />apparently these are the same as last year. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said Mr. Nereson should indicate to Consulting Engineers that <br />if they are going to be handling engineering on the roads and plats then <br />it is their responsibility to be sure time allowed for completion of projects <br />is not elapsing and to keep Council posted on the status of these projects. <br />He said he is not critizing, but advising them we are going to hold them <br />responsible for this. Mr. Nereson is to send them a letter and inform them <br />that plat review and bond requirements should be reviewed by them regularly <br />and they should establish some schedule or tickler system. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to authorize the Mayor and Clerk <br />to execute the 1977 MSA agreement contracts. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4 Ayes <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to adopt Resolution No. 30, relating to <br />the MSA Agreements for 1977. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4 Ayes <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />Final payment - Project 1976-1. Mr. Nereson read a letter from Engr. Raatikka <br />regarding final payment on 76-1. Mr. Raatikka recommends a final payment be <br />made with $1,000 retained for sod and cleaning storm sewer drains. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to make final payment on 76-1 and hold <br />back ~1,000 for resodding and cleaning of storm sewer drains next year contingent <br />upon items on Page 3 of Engineer Raatikka's letter. <br /> <br />c. Off sale non-intoxica%'i'ngliquor license request, Mobil International. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann said Mobil has the same problem Berg Oil has. They are too <br />close to the Tech school and since Mr. Berg's request was rejected, this <br />should also be rejected. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said nothing could be done at this point the way the ordinance reads. <br />However, he said the ordinance could be amended. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to leave the ordinance as it now reads. <br /> <br />d. Resignation letter from Fred Ritchie. Letter read by Mr. Nereson. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gotham to accept the resignation of Fred Ritchie <br />from ~he Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4 Ayes <br /> <br />A letter of appreciation is to be sent to him for the fine job he has done. <br /> <br />e. issuance of buildin9 permit - Windsorwood. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson reviewed the Windsorwood situation for Council. He said he discussed <br />this situation with Attorney Goodrich and Engineer Raatikka as a result of a <br />request for a building permit from Warren Stock to build a home. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich feels Council should review this since they had passed the <br />Resolution that no building permits were to be issued in this subdivision until <br />the roads were brought up to date. <br /> <br /> <br />
