Administrator Walker r~ported that there is some delay on removing of some private trees and also removal of underground utilities by Bell Telephone Company. Con~ struction should start during the week of the 17th of November. Petition for vacation of a street cul-de-sac between lots ~. and 9 at the corner of 155th Lane ana Nutria Street N.~. of the Whispering Pines Estates in the City of RamseM~ The petition is to be referred to the engineers by Admini¢~trator ¥~alker. No action at this time. ~ill for Auditors. Mayor Cox opposed. of Ail Pets Inc., Animal Control. Administrator Walker presented a brochure on the services for animal control. Council made note and directed Administrator Walker to investigate charges and other criteria. ]~eview of insurance clause on liquor license. Administrator ¥.~alker to ascertain the cost for $1,000,000 liability clause check withDeZiel on his cost. No action at this time. ~xtension of Reilly Estates Final Plat.- discussion held. Motion by Cox and seconded by Mickelson to grant an extension of six months from the original expiration date on the Reilly Estates Final Plat. Carried 5 to O. Correspondence - letter from Jim Stewart. Mayor Cox read the letter from Jim Stewart pertaining to a part time co~aunity school program. Mayor Cox and Gary Gorham dis- cussed a meeting that Mayor Cox, Councilman Gorham and Administrator Walker had with the school officials that preceded the writing of the letter. Mr. Stewart requested another meeting and Administrator Walker is to set up the meeting with Jim Stewart, Mayor Cox, Councilman Gorham and other school officials. Mayor Cox invited all citizens to attend the presentation of the Bi Centennial flag by Lt. Governor RudM Perpich on Wednesday the 19th of November at the Ramsey Elementary oc~ool cafeteria. Letter from the Department of Natural Resources of the State of Minnesota. %rayne Sames of the Department of ~atural Resources requested a meeting with the Council pertaining to the designation of the Mississippi River as a Wild Scenic River. Administrator Walker was directed to set the meeting for the next Council meeting.
