Motion carried unanimously. A copy of the letter <br />is on file with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Windsorwoods; Mr. Burnison owns a lot in this plat but has been <br />~able to get a building permit because the roads andbond are not <br />in. It seems the developer, Mr. Vanderpol had a partner, who has <br />been presumed drowned recently, and it has tied up the concerns on <br />this plat. Mr. Sha feels the road plans on this plat should be <br />referred to their office for reviewal. As soon as the roads are <br />completed and the maintenance bond is in, Mr. Burnison will be <br />issued a building permit. Clerk will call developer to get in <br />touch with the City Engineer. We will send a letter as a matter <br />of record. ~r. Mickelson moved a letter be written to the devel- <br />oper telling him to send hid" road plans to our engineer and refer- <br />ring him to the engineer to find out just what he needs in order <br />to meet City requirements. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion car- <br />tied unanimously. This matter has caused a hardship for Mr. Bur- <br />ntson, who was present at the meeting and discnssed it with the <br />Council. <br /> <br />Carson-Holm Preliminary plat: Discussion on this plat. This <br />matter will be placed on the agenda for the meeting on July 31, <br />1975 so that Mr. Fricke has a chance to review it. Mr. Burnison <br />will also be placed on the agenda for that time. <br /> <br />Municipal Land Purchase: Purchase Agreement presented by the <br />attorney. He read the proposed contraet with Stephen Holasek. Mr~ <br />Gorhammoved we sign this purchase agreement and send it to Royal <br />Esquire Realty, the seller's realtor, with the $500 down payment. <br />Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Mr. Schutz appeared for the Ramsey Home- <br />owners Assoc. to discuss the municipal land purchase. They want the <br />City to purchase more land at this site. He said this area was <br />centrally located with good access to the rest of the community. <br />He said Brooklyn Park has $0 acres, Andover has ~0 acres, Champlin <br />has 20 acres and Robbinsdale has 8 acres, and wish they had more. <br />Mr. Gorham said that a good share of Andover's acreage was swamp. Mr. <br />Gorham also said this had been discussed but the Committee felt <br />they could buy more adjoining land in the future. The question was <br />called. Mr. Cox, Mr. Gotham, Mr. Reimann and Mr. Mickelson voted <br />yes. Mrs. Oliphant voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Reimann moved to direct the engineer to proceed to survey the <br />municipal site property. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Mr. Cox, Mr. <br />Gorham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson voted yes. Mrs. Oliphant voted <br />no.
