This is the area of two lots rezoned in Golden Eagle Estates plat on Variolite St. and 173rd Ave. Legal description is in the ordinance. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Mr. Cox, Mr. Gorham, Mr. Reimann and Mr. Mickel- son voted yes. Mrs. Oliphant voted no. Motion carried. Mrs. James: wants a decision on removal of tall trees in cemetary. Mr. Reimann moved we give Mrs. James approval to cut down the nec- essary largest trees in this cemetary. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. Mrs, Jame~ described two paintings done by Mr. Carl Bonnel on early Ramsey scenes. Cost of these pictures is $15.00 each. Mr. Cox said he would donate them to the City of Ramsey. Mr. Reimann moved we authorize the purchase of the two paintings at $15.00 each for the City of Ramsey to be put in the new City Hall. Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried unanimously. .~rs. James announced that when the brush has been cut out of the cemetary, she will need a lot of volunteer help. Bruce Bacon.- Weed snd Tree Inspector.: He submitted his written resignation as the weed inspector but he will keep on as tree in- spector. He said he needed more time for the tree inspecting.
