They <br />recommended the City Council introduce and adopt the MU-PUD ordinance with the language <br />change, however, the vote was split as some of the commissioners felt it was too flexible. <br /> <br />Councihncmber Kurak indicated she had concerns with flexibility and feels comfortable with the <br />statement "to provide for an adequate mixture of commercial and residential uses and in no case <br />shall a development contain 100% of any one use." <br /> <br />Co u ncilm ember Strommen concurred. <br /> <br />Counci hnember Zimmerman inquired if there would be P UD's with all commercial uses. <br /> <br />Associate Plmmer Wald replied a PUD could not have 100% commercial use. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to introduce an ordinance <br />amending the MU-PUD district. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cook. <br /> <br />Case#10: Introduce Ordinance to Amend Landscape Requirements in the B-1 <br /> Business, B-2 Business, E-1 Employment, and E-2 Employment Zoning <br /> Districts <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik advised staff recommends approval of the proposed <br />landscaping amendments. <br /> <br />Councihnember Strommen asked if the EPTF had any input into the ordinance. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik responded in the negative. <br /> <br />Councihnember Strolnlnet~ COlnmented it is very good that this ordinance is being reviewed and <br />modi fled. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to introduce an <br />ordinance to amend the landscape requirements in the B-1 Business, B-2 Business, E-1 <br />Employment, and E-2 Employment Districts. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Pearson, Kurak, Elvig, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
