Councihnember Elvig inquired about the review by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied he has reviewed the ordinance and it is fine. <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman questioned if the new rate for the townhomes would be <br />considerably less than the other commercial rate. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II Linton replied the single-family rate is .25 REU and the townhouses have <br />gene,'ally been at .37 REU. The rate will be approximately one or two dollars per quarter less for <br />the townhouses. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to introduce an <br />ordinance to amend Section 4.80 of the City Code, which Section 4.80 is entitled "Storm <br />Drainage Utility" and which was adopted pursuant to City Ordinance 00-01. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Pearson, Elvig, Kurak, <br />Strommen, and Zimmern~an. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cook. <br /> <br />Case#13: Adopt Ordinance to Amend Architectural Standards for R-2 and R-3 <br /> Residential Districts <br /> <br />Assistant Comnmnity Development Director Trudgeon advised this ordinance was introduced at <br />the last meeting and is now eligible for adoption. He noted there was some discussion about <br />colored concrete, and as referenced in the staff report, if that is proposed it would be looked at by <br />staff to make sure there is durability. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Ordinance #04- <br />08 to amend architectural standards for R-2 Residential Districts and to adopt Ordinance #04-09 <br />to amend architectural standards for R-3 Residential Districts. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook absent <br />Councilmember Elvig aye <br />Councilme~nber Kurak aye <br />Councilmember Pearson aye <br />Councihnember Stromlnen aye <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerrnan aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion can'ied. <br /> <br />City Council/April 13, 2004 <br /> Page 30 of 33 <br /> <br /> <br />
