JIM GILBERTSON - SITE AND DESIGN PLAN FOR OFF-SALE LIQUOR STORE ON HIGHWAY <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve <br />the site plan/building design plan of Jim Gilbertson for his proposed <br />off-sale intoxicating liquor store to be located at 6131 Highway 10 and <br />known as No. 10 Liquors with the recommendations of the City engineer <br />excepting that the delivery door may remain in the location as shown on <br />the site plan, "Exhibit A"; and %hat the development contract between <br />Mr. Gilbertson and the City be executed in the form that it is presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR DELAY IN ADOPTING WILD AND SCENIC RIVER ORDINANCE FROM <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />Resolution No. 80-4 entitled "RESOLUTION REQUESTING DELAY IN TIME FOR ADOPTION <br />OF WILD AND SCENIC RIVER ORDINANCE BY CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota request delay in adopting Wild and Scenic River Ordinance. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council requests a delay in adoption of the Wild <br />Scenic River Ordinance from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resource <br />until April 1, 1980. <br /> <br /> 2) The purpose of the above request is to coordinate the com- <br />pletion of the upgrading of the City's Comprehensive Plan and the <br />development of Wild and Scenic River Ordinance. <br /> <br />Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg. <br />Voting no: None. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PARK BOND ISSUE <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented information from the Park and Recreation Commission <br />regarding a bond issue and a survey on Titterud Park. <br /> <br />He reported that Federal Cartridge Corporation is giving the City land <br />to be used for park purposes which is located by Sorteberg Addition. <br />The land is about 50 acres. Federal Cartridge intends to keep the <br />Gun Club in operation but they will have a policy on hours of shooting, <br />type of shot, distance, etc. They will buffer and screen the gun club. <br />They do not want to pay for upgrading the road and they are donating the <br />land for tax purposes. The Community School program will be going out to <br />the parks this su~er and when this park is improved it will serve the <br />area in a capacity similar to the park at Ramsey Elementary School. <br />Titterud and Peltzer parks will be secondary type parks. <br /> <br />Page 7 <br />Council/January 22, 1980 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br /> <br />
