Mayor
Gamec read a letter from the Finch's who stated they are in favor of the
project. He also read a letter from the Moseby's, 15321 Hematite, who said
they are in favor of the project.

Councilman Sorteberg felt there are too many unresolved drainage problems
which should be first addressed. Mayor Gmnec said the project should try
and resolve these problems.

Mayor Gamec asked if we have to start bringing in Class V could this be
assessed. City Administrator Schnelle said this money comes from the
general fund. Mayor Gamec said we could spend $200,000 on just Class V.

Discussion on whether or not good bids can now be obtained because of
higher costs on one hand, but on the other hand many construction firms
are now looking for work and might be willing to bid relatively low.

Councilman Cox said because of economic situations he is in favor of tabling
action on this project.

C/April 8, 1980
Page 3
