Mayor Gamec said the Athletic Association needed four homeplates and four <br />sets of bases. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt Resolution 80- 43 Authorizing <br />the Transfer of Funds from General Fund to Park and Recreation Fund to <br />Purchase 12 ball bases and four (4) homeplates for ball fields not to <br />excees $250.00. Motion seconded by Councilman Mickelson. Voting yes- <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, Micketson and Cox. Voting noD <br />None. Motion carried. Please refer to resoltuion file for Resolution 80- 43 · <br /> <br />LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the letter from C.E.D. regarding Industrial Flows can be <br />taken up under Council Old Business, "Comprehensive Plan". <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said regarding the letter of the League of Minnesota Cities on <br />the two additional proposed changes in the general revenue sharing both <br />at the federal and state levels, that was all eliminated and the revenue <br />sharing at the state and local levels will remain the same. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1) Proposed Revised/Updating of the City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />Mr. Ken Peterson, Planning & Zoning Commissioner, said the commission is <br />looking for action on the Land Use section. He said the Park Plan section <br />is not complete. He said in regards to the second connection, the Metro ~ <br />Council wants the city to ocument what its intentions are for the development <br />and growth in this area. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said the city has to show a capital improvements program <br />for that area when sewer and water goes in. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said according to the CAB meeting he went to, the Council can't <br />approve the Comprehensive Plan until these documentations are made. <br />He said the pipe is set to go, the funding has been approved and they want <br />to know when the city is going to hook up to it and what the capacity will be. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said there won't by any problem to project the flows <br />because he was told he could take the information out of the Comprehensive <br />Sanitary Sewer Plan and adopt it into the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to take <br />the information regarding the projected flows out of the Comprehensive Sanitary <br />Sewer Plan and adopt it into the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox.
