Motion by Councilman Mickelson to adopt Resolution 80- 4~ Creating a <br />Ramsey Landfill Committee and Resolution 80- 45 Requesting Certain <br />Items to be Accomplished by Waste Management, Inc. Motion seconded by <br />Councilman Cox. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. Motion carried. Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolutions 80- ~ and 80- 45 <br /> <br />3) Barthel Plat (Barthel's Rum Rivers Second Addition) <br /> <br />Proposed contract amendments were handed out. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Cox to enter into <br />contract with Mr. Kenneth A. Barthel, Barthel Homes, Inc., Barthel's Rum <br />and to authorize the Mayor to execute same and to a¢cept~mo~tgage for the . <br />Barthel's Rum Rivers Second Addition development in the amount of $233,850. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />4) Acquiring ~ Drainage Area in Countryside Estates - Request from Art Raudio <br />(Outlot "B" Countryside Estates) <br /> <br />Discussion was held on Mr. Raudio requests that the city authorize a metes <br />and bounds split of Outlot "A" into two (2) buildable lots and that the <br />north half of Outlot "B" be a buildable lot in Countryside Estates and <br />that the city authorize a metes and bounds split of Outlot "A" into two (2) <br />buildable lots in Rolling Greens. <br /> <br />Consensus of the council was to omit the request for the metes and bounds split <br />of Outlot "A" into two (2) buildable lots in Rolling Greens and to go with <br />the Countryside Estates request and to let Mr. Raudio know there is a drainage <br />problem out there. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann noted there are water and washout problems out there and <br />a lot of the outlots are there because they are problems. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec explained that outlots are basically for drainage and he asked <br />if Mr. Radio wanted all the outlots made buildable lots. <br /> <br />city Administrator Schnelle said that Mr. Raudio wanted all the outlots <br />made buildable lots. <br /> <br />Councilman Sorteberg .recommended finding out the original purpose for the <br />outlots and condemning them for drainage. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested leaving those outlots as they were originally meant for <br />or allowing three buildable lots and using the rest for drainage. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec directed the City Engineer to check out the situation and to <br />get back to the City Council at their next regular meeting, but to omit <br />the request for buildable lots in Rolling Greens. <br /> <br />5) Alpaca Estates Request for Preliminary/Final Plat Approval <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec told the developers that they were to work everything out with <br />the City Attorney and come back to the City Council for preliminary approval <br /> <br />C/May 27, 1980 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
