Mr. Arvin Hansmann, 14951 Garnet St. N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansmann asked if the city could get Waste Management to alleviate <br />the smell. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the city could contact Waste Management tomorrow <br />to do something about cutting the pump down to 20 minutes every <br />hours, but he didn't see the smell being alleviated soon. <br /> <br />Atty. Soucie said Ms. Ritchie said she felt cutting the pump back <br />would alleviate the smell and if it is monitored at the same time, it <br />would be safe. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />~) Public Hearing regarding Mr. Dick Miller Partial Vacation of Easement <br />~f August 26, 1980 <br /> <br />Motion by Countilman Sorteberg and seconded by Counclman Reimann to <br />approve the minutes for the Public Hearing held on August 26, <br />1980. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Reimann. <br />Voting no-None. <br /> <br />2) Regular Council Meeting of August ~ 1980 <br /> <br />The minutes were tabled because Councilman Reimann was not present <br />at the August 26th meeting and three votes are needed for approval. <br /> <br />NOTE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />No comment. <br /> <br />LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle asked the City Council to review Resolution #80-86 <br />Requesting Anoka County to Oppose Metropolitan Council,s Guidelines for <br />Review o£ Any Amendments to Local Governments' Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle reported that the city is getting a fantastic <br />response from the Cable TV survey and is getting the mail in trays. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1_) Karol Andreason Regarding City Council APproVal to Use the Fire Barn <br />for a Teen Dance on Halloween <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said he could see no problem in using the fire barn for <br />a teen dance on Halloween, but he suggested the city provide a couple <br />satellites for it. <br /> <br />C/September 8, 1980 <br /> Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
