City Engineer Raatikka said he would look into this problem. <br /> <br />Mr. Homstad said there was six (6) feet between his driveway and the <br />blacktop and he had to pay for the connection. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said one or two feet would be connected, but not six feet. <br />Actually, the policy is not to connect over one foot. <br /> <br />Mr. Homstad asked if a person could prepay a percentage of the assessment <br />later on. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said at this time, the policy is to prepay the full amount, <br />not a percentage. <br /> <br />Mr. Jenkinson asked if there was any kind of guarantee on the grass that <br />was put down during restoration. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the biggest complaints he has received were on the <br />soil and grass put down during restoration. He said the City has been <br />putting a lot of pressure on the contractors to put in better grass, <br />but there is still a problem. He said not to look for green grass out <br />there as it is hard to get grass to grow in that area. <br /> <br />Andy of 154~4 Barium <br /> <br />This resident said his culvert was not cleared. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said this problem would be taken care of. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg <br />to adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilman Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox.
