D-2 COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />CASE #1 CORRECTION TO PLAT REQUEST FOR; CASE OF ALPACA ESTATES 2ND <br /> <br />ADDITION <br /> <br />The following document enclosures in regard to this case were received: <br /> <br /> a. Land Surveyors Certificate of Correction to plat; case <br /> of Alpaca Estates 2nd Addition. <br /> b. Proposed Council Resolution approving correction Of records <br /> to the above named plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotmcilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilwoman Van Wagner <br />to adopt Resolution #81- 28 . Resolution approving of land surveyors <br />certificate of correction to plat Alpaca Estates 2nd Addition. (See <br />Resolution File, Resolution #81- 28 ). <br /> <br />CASE #2 STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT LETTER DATED APRIL 15, 1981; REGARDING <br /> <br />SIGNALIZATION OF THE 141ST AVE WHERE IT INTERSECTS WITH HY'#47 <br />IN REGARDS TO FLINTWOOD II PLAT: <br /> <br />The Council noted they are cognizant of the letter dated April 15, 1981. <br />CASE #3 SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR THE ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR ASSISTANT: <br /> <br />Councilman Cox stated the Council has not determined if it definitely <br />needs a person; we should consider streamlining also. <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle commented a comment was made by a citizen to him that <br />he wanted to know how the city could hire another person when the commercial <br />taxpayers can't pay their taxes. <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle stated for the record that the decision for hiring <br />an Assistant Administrator Assistant is a Council issue and a Council <br />action and not an Administrator action. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann skated consideration should be given to hiring an <br />assistant as a consultant instead of a full-time assistant. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked Administrator Schnelle to prepare for the council <br />duty specifications for the need of a new person and any grants available <br />to defray the cost for an additional person and how much help he anticipates <br />necessary to conduct City business in an orderly fashion. Mayor Gamec <br />also asked the Council members to determine what they thought the needs <br />for a new assistant should be and the duty specifications. <br /> <br />CASE #4 APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner and seconded by Cotmcilman Reimann to <br />approve the following names of persons that will be Election Judges <br />for the Special Election for the Proposed Park Bond to be held May 5, 1981: <br /> <br />Precinct #1 <br /> <br />Jean Schlueter <br />Kathie Peterson <br />Helen Wemple <br />Arlene Harrington <br /> <br />C/April 28, 1981 <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
