Regular Council Page 3 February 26, 1979 Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. (Councilman Cox approved the portion of the meeting he was in attendance.) Voting no None. Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the minutes of the special Council meeting of February 15, 1979. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann and Mickelson. Voting no None. Councilman Cox abstained. STAFF REPORTS The Building Official, Assessor and Police Reports were noted. It was noted from the Chief of Police's report a request to have permission on the purchase of a radar set for the City of Ramsey Police Department. The Chief has submitted an application form for approval on the purchase of this radar set and stated it was no committment to buy, however needed Council approval on the acceptance of the application. Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve the purchase of the radar set for the City of Ramsey Police Department upon acceptance of the application by the State of Minnesota and such radar set not to exceed the cost of $260.00. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None. It was also noted by the Council the City of Ramsey Police Department should be working on upgrading the reservist time. The chief should be called and make a report on this to the Council. Mayor Gamec reported to the Council that the Pee Wee and Mites Ramsey Hockey teams won the Anoka Area Hockey Association Championship. There should be letters of congratulations sent to each player and to their coaches congratu- lating them on their winnings. Councilman Cox reported that work is proceeding on the application for the youth center and would appreciate any and all support the City can get. Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to ~dopt Resolu- tion #79-9 the City's Policy on Dogs and have City Staff prepare said resolu- tion. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None. OLD BUSINESS COUNCIL APPROVAL FOR PARK BOARD MEMBER REIMBURSEMENT ATTENDANCE AT LUNCHEON MEETING Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to reimburse Park Board members on their attendance of a luncheon meeting and such members must present a bill to the City Staff for such reimbursement.
