Meeti~.g <br />April .23~. ~1979~.~ ~ ?a. ge 13 <br /> <br />KNACKSTEDT REGARDING FEASIBILITY OF EXTENDING'160TH'LANE'THROUGH'THEIR'PROPERTY. <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka reviewed his report based on the Anoka County soil survey. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the City didn't have the funds to get involved in putting the <br />road through. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox suggested obtaining an easement to.be dedicated'tQthelCity tQ <br />give the Knackstedt's access to the Property~ <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to attemPt tQ <br />get an 80 foot wide street easement for extension'of 16~th.'Lane~ approved <br />by th~,City Attorney, deeded to the City before granti.ng of any bu~idi~g~ <br />permits or variance to the ordinance for them to use the'existing driveway~ <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox~ Mickelson,~.Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />SORTEBERG ADDITION FOR FINAL P~LAT~'Ap_PR~.V~A~ <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked if everything on this final plat was thelSame as the <br />preliminary. <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka said there are no changes other than what thelCity changed <br />for drainage and they need to provide a reproducible CQPY of thelplat showing <br />house numbers. <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan questioned why no park land was dedicated. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said one of the reaSons he isn't in favQr~Qf~a park in.that <br />area is because of Trott Brook being relatively c!ose'and~helfee!s an~ money <br />the City can get should be used to develop bike trails; etc. He objects to~ <br />too many parks, and would like to see existing parks developed. <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan said the Park Board feelS the City needs parks with baseball. <br />fields and tennis courts. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson~t~app~ove the <br />final palt of Sorteberg Addition with recommendationS.of thelCity. Ehgineer as <br />stated in his report dated 4/18/79., elmininating theldrainage easements~in <br />Lots 3 and 4, Block 3; Lot 3, Block 2 drainage easement to be Cut~down'somewhat~. <br />subject also to Engineer and Attorney approval and all'other requ~rements.of~ <br />the platting ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, CouD~i!men]Cox~ MickelSon~ Reimann <br />Voting no: None. Abstaining: Councilman Sortebe~g. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann -that the City <br />Engineer prepare some type of future resubdivision'and road dedication, and <br />easement plan for Ordinance adoption. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br /> <br />
