There is a need to have unified
action between the Park Commission, P & Z Commission and Council to preserve
the Trott Brook area. If there is a disagreement it shouldl be discussed and
through the process, get it unified in attitudes toward the preservation of
the Trott Brook area.

Jack Menkveld suggested they consider Autumn Heights for the northwest park site.
There is a large park there.

Councilman Sorteberg noted that it goes up to both roads for accessibility.

Councilman Cox said the park isn't under water as indicated in the park plan.

The Park Commission was directed to review that park site again.

Consensus of the Council is that they are pretty much in favor of the 5-Year
Capital Improvement Budget as presented.

PONDVALE ESTATES PRELIMINARY PLAT

Engineer Raatikka commented regarding Outlots in developments, and that developers
have to show what theY plan to do With any Outlots.

Mr. Kytonen said that it would be made a part of the parcel directly above it.
He is calling this parcel Outlot A to simplify the description.

It was noted that the drainage problem was addressed by the Planning & Zoning
Commission and the developer is required to provide soil borings.

-3-
Special Council Meeting
6/12/79
