NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #16-00, DIVISION C <br />ANDRIE STREET AND 164TH LANE RECONSTRUCTION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: <br />Notice is hereby given that the Ramsey City Council will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, January 26th, 2016 in the Ramsey Municipal Center Council Chambers, 7550 Sunwood <br />Drive NW, Ramsey, MN. <br />The purpose of the hearing is to consider Improvement Project #16-00, Division C, which <br />proposes grading, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous paving, drainage, and miscellaneous <br />appurtenant improvements to approximately 6,330 linear feet of Andrie Street NW between Alpine <br />Drive NW and 164th Lane NW, and 3,660 linear feet of 164th Lane NW between Andrie Street NW <br />and Jarvis Street NW. <br />Properties with direct access to the improved streets are proposed to be assessed per Minnesota <br />Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111, and Chapter 8 of the Ramsey City Charter. The total <br />estimated cost to the City of Ramsey for the above described project is $2,956,000. A <br />reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment, preliminarily proposed at $9,150 per <br />benefitting property to be assessed over fifteen years with interest at two percent above the 10 - <br />year U.S. Treasury Rate, will be available at the hearing. <br />Written comments are welcome and shall be addressed to the Ramsey City Council, 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, MN 55303. Written comments will be received at the above <br />address until 4:30 p.m. on January 26th, 2016. All interested persons are invited to attend the <br />hearing and comment on the proposed improvement project.
