The applicant will be
the sole employee and expects to service a maximum of ten clients per week. Operation hours
would be primarily Monday through Friday with the last appointment scheduled no later than
9:00 p.m. The City recently issued a home occupation permit for a massage therapist with
similar hours and number of anticipated clients during a week. One letter of rejection was
received, which is included in the Council's packet. The residents, Mr. and Mrs. Greenberg, feel
the business will bring additional traffic into the neighborhood. However, it appears that the
opposition is more related to the development of River Pines, the residential subdivision located
adjacent to the owners' property, than the request to operate a one person chiropractic home
occupation. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the home occupation request.

Motion by Councihnember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to adopt Resolution
#04-05-133 adopting Findings of Fact #0674 relating to Sarah Pickhardt's request for a home
occupation permit to operate a one person chiropractic business on the property located at 15751
Potassium Street NW..

Motion can'ied.
