Page 3 <br />Regular Council Meetil <br />3/14/77 <br /> <br />Discussion held regarding the distance of his building to the road <br />and the actual lot line. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, Seconded by Muller to grant a variance to <br />Mr. Grosslein of Grosslein Beverages for an addition onto his <br />building which will be no closer than 20' to the lot line, this <br />variance is granted provided Mr. Grosslein can show on his parti- <br />cular survey at the time the building permit is to be issued that <br />the extension will be no closer than 20' to the lot line. <br /> <br />3 Aves <br /> <br />b. Lyle Daugherty, 15157 Yakima, request for variance. <br /> <br />~!r. Nereson passed out a signed certificate of abutting neighbors <br />indicating their approval for the building~and raising of rabbits <br />by Mr. Daugherty. The building inspector has inspected the <br />building and found it to be of good repair and good condition, <br />no problem reported from the City where he previously lived other <br />than attracting dogs. <br /> <br />Motion by Muller, Seconded by Gorham to grant to Lyle Daugherty <br />a variance to raise rabbits as a hobby, said rabbits not to exceed <br />15 adult rabbits; adult meaning rabbits 8 weeks or older and to <br />allow him to move in a shelter for them. <br /> <br />3 Ayes <br /> <br />c. Vos Way Enterprises request for a conditional use permit.to <br /> conduct a business of camper and motor home repair and sandblasting. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson said since this is not a permitted use for the zoning <br />classification, Attorney Goodrich felt a special use permit would <br />be better than spot zoning. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, Seconded by Muller to grant a conditional use permit <br />to Vos Way Enterprises as per Planninfl & Zoning recommendations. 3 Ayes <br /> <br />do Wayne Swedal, request for subdivision of lots. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read the Planning & Zoning minutes on the hearing conducted <br />reqarding Mr. Swedals request. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said a point to keep in mind is that in 1966 he purchased <br />what he thought was three lots. He read from a letter by Phil <br />Nereson regarding an "agreement" <br /> <br />Hotion by Muller, Seconded bv Gorham to grant a variance according <br />to Planning & Zoning recommendations dated 3/14/77. <br /> <br />3 Ayes <br /> <br />Assessing Policy <br /> <br />This item placed on Agenda in April. <br /> <br />8:43 p.m., Councilman Mickelson arrived <br /> <br />Appointment to District #11 Advisory Council <br /> <br />Councilman Muller recommended at the last meetinfl apoointing Robert Zellenak <br /> <br /> <br />
