Regular Meeting <br />March 28, 1977 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Mayor Cox suggested Mrs. Thunnel contact Hedstrom Electic because they have <br />some light fixtures to donate. Councilman Muller is donating a side of beef. <br /> <br />REPOR TS <br /> <br />Buildin~ Department Report - read by Mr. Nereson <br /> <br />Discussion held on workload of building department and part time help. <br />was decided that the Personnel Committee will meet with Mr. Nereson on <br />Wednesday evening at 7 P.M. to discuss the building department. <br /> <br />It <br /> <br />Street Department Report - read by Mr. Nereson <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka commented that the County Highway Department is planning on <br />overlaying Sunfish Lake Boulevard and paving 10 foot shoulders and they are <br />wondering if the City has any construction projects planned in that area. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said that he should indicate in his response to the County the <br />problem with Ramsey Boulevard and try to get support on that road. <br /> <br />Park Commission - minutes read by Mr. Nereson <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson reported on the status of the Comprehensive Park Plan. <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, Seconded by Mickelson to appoint Paul Bogner to the Park <br />& Recreation Commission to replace Robert Cushman. <br /> <br />MOTION by Muller, Seconded by Mickelson to appoint Darrel Jensen to the Park <br />& Recreation Commission to replace Fred Ritchie. <br /> <br />Police Report - read by Mr. Nereson <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Forest Hideaway final plat. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read the Engineel~s report. A question was raised regarding the <br />width of Lot 1 Block 4. Mayor Cox indicated this may be a problem for <br />resubdivision at a later date. <br /> <br />Mr. Belfany, Tiger Construction, said this lot was originally set up for park <br />land and the Park Board decided they wanted another lot. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka explained that the 200 feet is measured by the mean of the lot. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox expressed concern over the condition of 161st and affect additional <br />traffic might have on it. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann did not feel the frontage on Lot 1 Block 4 is adequate. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox recommended that P & Z review that portion of the ordinance concerning <br />lot width. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson said he and Attorney Goodrich are meeting Thursday to review the <br />city's ordinances and will bring t~is to P & Z attention. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
