He asked that Council <br />carefully consider what they are doing. <br /> <br />Mr. Grosslein said he wash 't aware that part of his lot is zoned residential <br />and is very disturbed about it. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann asked about tree planting that Mr. Grosslein was supposed <br />to have done. <br /> <br />Mr. Grosslein said he made the statement that he would put in trees. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox asked Mr. Anderson if the neighbors would like a fence put up. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson said off hand he would say no. He doesn't feel that they will <br />accept a chain link fence and he is concerned about the parking. He feels <br />the only way he could go along with it would be proper rezoning with very <br />rigid screening and landscaping and make him perform it. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox asked for a motion to grant the variance. <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann~ Seconded by Gotham to table the variance request and have <br />the Administrative Asst. draw findings of fact concerning reasons for denial. <br /> <br />Mr. Gustafson, 6256 Rivlyn, asked Council to take a look at the property <br />because he is already violating five things in the Ordinance. The blacktop <br />is right up to the line. He said it is a safety factor and very offensive <br />to have 10 to 12 trucks lined up in the morning. <br /> <br />Dickenson's attorney asked to be notified on any changes occuring in this <br />a rea. <br /> <br />Mr. Carl Anderson said he lives by Cedar, MN and he is his Mother's legal <br />guardian. He said he wasn't notified on the rezoning. His mother owns a <br />small parcel West of Hedstrom and would like to be notified of any future <br />changes in zoning. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Mr. Greenberg, member of the Ramsey EDC, spoke on Industrial Boulevard right <br />of way and the bridge crossing. Local traffic will be channeled through <br />on Industry Boulevard and alleviate the congestion at Sunfish Lake and Ramsey <br />Boulevard intersections on Hwy 10. Previous meetings with the County <br />Highway Department indicate they would put in the road if Ramsey gets the <br />right of way. <br /> <br />All the property owners have agreed to give 120 feet of right of way in <br />exchange for park dedication, by mutual agreement, except for Mr. Shenk <br />who has not been contacted yet. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Fields said the County will use their own men and equipment when they <br />have off time. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said the County is anxious for this to be opened up so the Industrial <br />Park can develop and thereby enhance the County's tax base. <br /> <br />MOTION by Gotham, Seconded by Reimann that the City staff be authorized <br />to proceed at no expense to the City with the platting of the required right <br />of way property to be used in the construction of Industrial Boulevard West <br />of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and East of Armstrong Boulevard.
