Regular ~:eeting <br />September 12, 1977 <br />Page Three <br /> <br />3. 1~.'etro Council Y~udget <br /> <br />Adm~.nistrative Assistant Fereson explained that he has received and briefly <br />reviewed the budget from the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />I,"ayor Cox voiced his concern about the Yetro Council's spending too much of the <br />'taxpayers' money. It was suggested that Administrative Assistant Nereson <br />communicate the Ramsey City Council's position to the ~etro Counci.l. <br /> <br />4. 1978 Preliminary Budget <br /> <br />Fr. Nereson presented the members of the Council a copy of the preliminary <br />budget for 1978. He asked the Council members to review it. Councilman Gamec <br />and Councilman Mickelson will meet with Administrative Assistant Nereson next <br />Thursday to discuss this budget. <br /> <br />= Cond~tional Use - Nigh Point pursuant to Eoratorium ordinance <br /> <br />I,'OTIO~'.I by Reimann, seconded by ~ickelson, pursuant to Ordinance 76-2, to issue <br />a conditional use permit, to the high point plat development. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />6. Conditional Use Permit - Fred St. Jean, private dog kennel <br /> <br />~zOTION by Gamec, seconded by Nickelson that a conditional use permit be granted <br />as per Planning and Zoning recommendations and in addition, no boarding of dogs <br />be allowed. Below is a list of conditions. 1. Renewable upon annual review <br /> 2.Between 8 to 10 adult dogs, mostly show dogs, some for breeding, <br /> about 3 litter per year. <br /> 3. Indoor housing, dogs locked in about 8 p.m. in supper, at dark in winter. <br /> put out about 8 a.m. in summer - later in winter. Locked in from about Noon <br /> to 3 p.m. during summer heat. <br /> 4. Cyclone fencing 5. Doggie cesspool 6. No boarding of dogs <br /> allowed. <br />7. Robert Gfrorer - Preliminary Plat <br /> <br />~'!OTIO~.i by Mickelson, seconded by Gamec to approve the preliminary plat of Ofrorer <br />Addition as per Planning and Zoning recommendations. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />8. Vernal Weaver, subdivision request <br /> <br />Discussion was held. <br /> <br />t,~OTIO~.! by ~,eimann, seconded by Gamec to table this decision until it can be <br />reviewed with the city attorney. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />9. Of f sale Liquor I,icense <br /> <br />Administrative Assistant Nereson, Councilman Yuller and Attorney Goodrich, v~ll <br />investigate the pros and cons of a municipal liquor store. This item wi,Il be <br />put on the Agenda for the next meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
