Council 4/10/78 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Ms. Dianne Gfroerer said she never asked Mr. Klemish to remove his pole <br />barn, but to place shrubs by it in order to at least try to hide it. <br /> <br />Mr. Klemish said he will take care of his problems and Councilman <br />Reimann said they become the City's problems when they get complaints <br />about it. <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Reimann to give Mr. Klemish an opportunity <br />to clean up and start some work as far as straightening up and removing <br />some of the debris and it be reviewed by Ramsey's zoning office in <br />thirty days. <br /> <br /> 3 Ayes <br />Mayor Cox Opposed <br />Councilman Mickelson Abstained <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1) Planning and Zoning Recommendations <br /> <br />a) Faye Construction Sketch Plan <br /> <br />Carl Anderson of Hakansen-Anderson & AssOciates was present regarding <br />the Faye Construction Sketch Plan and asked the Council to comment on <br />the zoning concept. The proposal would have commercial zoning nearest <br />Highway 10, single family residential zoning nearest the Mississippi <br />River and a strip of multiple dwelling zoning between the two acting <br />as a buffer zone. The request of the developers of the Faye cConstruction <br />Sketch Plan is to have the City in general terms endorse the planning <br />and zoning concept of the plat and ask that it be considered by the <br />City in directing their planning consultant in the Critical Rivers Plan. <br /> <br />MOTION by Muller, second by Mickelson to approve the overall concept of <br />Faye Construction Sketch Plan, however, indicating that this is not <br />approval of the submitted sketch plan and that specific details of the <br />sketch plan are not included in this motion. <br /> <br /> 4 Ayes <br />Councilman Reimam 2,bstai ned <br /> <br />b) Elmer Schwab Variance <br /> <br />MOTION by Mickelson, second by Muller to grant a variance from the Ramsey <br />subdivision code to Elmer Schwab to subdivide a parcel of land from <br />Parcel 350 Plat 89211. The subject parcel is located north and west of <br />170th Lane N.W. The subdivision shall be in conformance with Planning <br />and Zoning recommendations of April 3, 1978 and shall include a 42 foot <br />easement for roadway purposes over the west 42 feet of the subject <br />property. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
