¢ o ,' cil 4/ /78 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />critical rivers ordinances and working with the Metropolitan Council and other <br />Metro Agencies in trying to work out sa~e of these problems. <br /> <br />Some of the things discussed were the CAB Interceptor, the status of a bill which <br />would institute an impact statement on pieces of legislature that would affect <br />local municipalities, and fiscal notes for all pieces of legislation. ~evy limits <br />were discussed and Mayor Cox commented that Ramsey is doing everything possible <br />to keep its budget streamlined. The Comprehensive Plan was also discussed and <br />Councilman Gamec asked Representative Clawson if he could help get approval of <br />Ramsey's plan. Mr. Gamec said that Ramsey has heard that the Metropolitan <br />Council is in favor of it but that formal adoption of it has not happened. <br />Ramsey has adopted it. <br /> <br />2. Consider Revised Preliminary Plat Pineview Estates <br /> <br />Gilbert Menkveld was present and showed the Council revised sketches of Pine- <br />view Estates. There was general discussion. <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Reimann to rescind the previous actions on the <br />fourth revision of Pineview Estates. <br /> <br />Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Mickelson, seconded by Muller to approve the preliminary plat of Pine- <br />view Estates per the Engineer's recommendations. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Muller to grant a variance for the fifth revision <br />of Pineview Estates for deficient lot widths on Lot 1, Block 2, and two double <br />frontage lots with frontage on 149th Lane, Lots 9 & 10 of Block 3. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Consider Bids Received for Road Grader <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson reviewed the three bids received and Valley Equipment was Iow with <br />a bid of $65,3?3.00. Valley Equipment is the John Deere representative. There <br />was discussion of the $3,200.00 total warranty cost over five years. Louie <br />Williams of Valley Equipment was present and explained that the first year <br />is covered by John Deere and the other four years are covered by Valley Equip- <br />ment. <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Muller to accept the bid from Valley Equipment <br />for a motor grader for the sum of $64,3?3.00 subject to the attorney looking <br />over the contract before signing. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />Report on "911" Emergency NumBer <br /> <br />The Council received and reviewed a report on the 911 Emergency Telephone System <br />submitted by Clayton Berg, Building Official. Mr. Nereson explained that there <br />would be no cost to Ramsey for this service as the local cost is picked up by <br />the county which would cost Anoka County about $1,200.00 a month. <br /> <br /> <br />
