Regular Council <br />Page 4 <br />September 25~ 1978 <br /> <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT ACTION~ CASE OF ITASCA HEIGHTS <br /> <br />Mr. Dan Bircham asked if the people who signed the petition are taken into <br />consideration as well as the write-.ins. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Gorham said that the drainage is a major problem'butwith the prow, <br />posed Suburban Street Section it will eleviate the problem.. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Muller to order the <br />Suburban Street Section and sodded drainageway improvement project for <br />Itasca Heights as an add-on to the present projects of 78~S~ 78~2, 78~.3~ <br />and 78-4 contingent on acquiring the proper drainage easements which must <br />be obtained in 90 days or there will have to be an advertisement for bids <br />on the project. 5 ayes <br />BIKE LANE FOR 167TH AVENUE N~W. Motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve <br />a bike lane for 167th Avenue N.W~ to be constructed out of Class 5 and be <br />six feet in width. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />REQUEST TO MOVE A HOUSE INTO RAMSEY; CASE OF CARL BIEDERMAN <br /> <br />Mr. Carl B±ederman was present to discuss his request to move a house onto <br />a 10 acre parcel of land located at the intersection of County Road #5 and <br />#63. The proposed structmre is a 3~bedroom rambler with 1~196 square feet <br />with an 18 x 20 attached garage~ The home was built in the mid~£ifties <br />and except for the electrical and insufficient insulation in the attic it <br />complies with the present building code~ <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />Mr. Biederman's request to move a house into Ramsey upon obtaining the <br />proper building permits. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />SETTING OF HEARING DATE FOR REVENUE SHARING; <br /> <br />A hearing date was set for October 23, 1978 for Revenue Sharing at 7;30 <br />P.M. just prior to the regular meeting~ <br /> <br />CAR-SON HOMES REGARDING DEVELOPMENT OF FLINTWOOD HILLS #2 <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Carson was present 2o'discuss the concepts and present the'plans <br />and cost estimates for Flintwood Hills #2. He requested that the City pay <br />for part of the water system. The Council felt further information from <br />the Staff is necessary before taking on this matter. It will be reviewed <br />at the October 23, 1978 meeting after the City Engineer has had a chance <br />to review the proposal. <br /> <br /> <br />
