JOE SENTRYZ REGARDING RAMSEY WEST STORAGE BUILDING Regular Council Page 5 September 25~ 1978 Mr. Joe Sentryz was present to discuss his request to build a storage building next to his office on Lot 3, Block 1, Riverside West. It is to have an outside similar to the Ramsey West Office Building and is to be 220' x 32' Motion by Councilman~ckelson and seconded by Councilman Reimaz~n to approve Mr. Sentryz request to build a storage building on Lot 3 Bloc~ 1 Riverside West with an outside finish similar to the Ramsey West Office Building. 5 ayes Motion carried VARIANCE REQUEST; CASE OF TOM HOLKER Mr. Tom Holker was present requesting approval of a variance to subdivide a 20 acre parcel by metes and bounds into a 7½ acre and a 12½ acre parcel in the Rural Service Area. Mr. Holker was requesting the 7½ acre parcel be recorded as a buildable lot and the 12½ acre parcel have a private road 'to the back of the property with restrictive covenances and have 2he road maintained by the City. The Council felt it is not feasible for the City to maintain a road of 1,000 feet for one or two houses. Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by CouncitmanMickelson to in- struct the City Staff to prepare Findings of Fact and a resolution in order to disapprove of the application. 4 ayes Mayor Cox abstained Motion carried BICENTENNIAL MONEY; CASE OF MRS. CHARLES PERKINS The Council tabled this until the October 10, 1978 meeting in order for them to think of ways to use this money. NATIONAL FLOOD PLAIN INSURANCE It is noted a meeting has been set up for Tuesday, October 18, 1978, at 7:00 P.M. LICENSES FOR APPROVAL Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the following General Contractors licenses: #78-191 Development Plumbing Route #3 Elk River, Minnesota #78-192 DE-K Plumbing 721 - 5~h Avenue N.W. New Brighton, Minnesota
