Regular Council Page 2 October 10~ 1978 Mr. Dick Hawkins asked when the hunting ordinance regarding the bow and arrow restrictions was passed. He was told it was at the first of this year when the new City Code was adopted. It was stated that the possibility of this restriction was be- cause of a report of someone shooting an arrow into a house and another of someone shooting a chicken. Mr. A1 Heifort stated that as far as shooting an arrow into a house the #4 shot that is allowed would do as much or more damage than an arrow. He suggested we review the ordinance. Mr. Bill Easley asked if the use of CO2 or air pistols were mentioned in the ordinance. lie was told that they were not. If was asked if we have a similar ordinance as Andover. We do not.
