Regular Council <br />Page 3 <br />October 10~ 1978 <br /> <br />It should be noted that the minutes of the Planning and Zoning meeting of <br />October 2, 1978 should reflect the finding of fact for Faith Baptist <br />Church the citizens approved only to item #12. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />ITASCA H~IGHTS - STREET IMPROVt~V~NT <br /> <br />The street improvement project is being reevaluated by the Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read a letter from Mr. & Mrs. Fitzpatrick, a non resident of <br />Itasca Heights. <br /> <br />Councilman Gamec asked how much the condemnation value of land is. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka told him it was the market value plus any legal <br />fees. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Ahlman stated that he is for the improvement but without the <br />berm on the side. <br /> <br />Mrs. Doris Irvine stated when the petition was originally submitted she <br />wasn't too concerned but after the proposed easement on their land then <br />they opposed the project. They would have to increase the price of their <br />land $2,500.00. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Terpstra stated when the petition was originally circulated it was <br />to just get an idea of those in favor/against and the cost. He does have <br />a drainage problem but feel that can be cleared up. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann to rescind <br />the action of the motion of September 25, 1978 to proceed with street im- <br />provements for the Itasca Heights area. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Mayor Cox approved <br />Councilman Muller approved <br />Councilman Reimann approved <br />Councilman Mickelson approved <br />Councilman Gamec approved <br /> <br />TRAPROCK COMMONS; CASE OF RESTRICTIVE COVENANTS <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read the Planning and Zoning recommendations in their minutes <br />of October 2, 1978. <br /> <br />The recommendation was to allow Mr. Del Skeim to continue with his plan <br />for accessory buildings to be a minimum 320 square feet and not to exceed <br />1% of the size of the lot to be part of the restrictive covenants for <br />Traprock Commons. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Gamec to adopt the <br />restrictive covenant as presented except with the additional langUage that <br />the maximum size accessory use building should be 1% of the lot size and <br /> <br /> <br />
