Absent: Commissioners Howell and Holm. <br /> <br />Case #6: Request For A Metes And Bounds Subdivision; Case Of Mr. <br /> Garnett Pettersen: <br /> <br />Mr. Pettersen was present requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of his <br />property located on the east side of County Road #56. Mr. Pettersen stated <br />that his nephew wants to use one of the east parcels to store trucks and <br />carnival equipment during the winter. Mr. Pettersen noted that there would <br />would be no road for the parcels but rather a private driveway easement to <br />every lot. He stated he thinks the buyer of the eastern most parcel wants <br />the lot for horses. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hendriksen noted that he is a neighbor to Mr. Pettersen. <br /> <br />The Commission and Mr. Pettersen discussed the subdivision plans and noted <br />that a pole barn presently exists between the two eastern parcels and that <br />Mr. Pettersen has proposed to make three parcels out of the two existing <br />parcels on the east end of the property. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman stated that Mr. Pettersen should go through the minor <br />platting process and Commissioner LaDue stated access might be a problem. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairman Zimmerman and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />recommend that Mr. Pettersen proceed with the minor plat for his proposed <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway and <br />LaDue. Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioner Hendriksen. Absent: <br />Commissioners Howell and Holm. <br /> <br />Case #7: Request For Sketch Plan Review Of Minor Subdivision; Ca$~ Of <br /> Mr. David Mickelson: <br /> <br />Mr. Mickelson was present requesting a lot split for tax reasons. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />recommend approval of Mr. Mickelson's sketch plan of a minor subdivision <br />with an easement to Parcel A across Parcel B and a variance to the lot size <br />requirement for Parcel B. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue and Shumway. Voting No: None.
