Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed conditional use permit <br />agreement and Mr. Charles Christian was not present. <br /> <br />It was suggested that an Item #11 be added to the conditional use permit <br />agreement that would read as follows: '11. Displaying of vehicles within <br />the 50 foot setback will be on a paved surface with the surfacing to be <br />completed by September 1, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to table <br />this case until Mr. Charles Christian can be present to provide input with <br />respect to the conditional use permit agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Shumway, Deemer, Hendriksen, Howell and LaDue. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~5.. Requ_ est For Conditional Use Permit To Manufacture .Steel <br /> Horseshoes In The B-1 Business District At 6250 Front Street <br /> N.W.; Case Of Mr. Richard Duqqan: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Howell to table <br />this case until those members of the Commission desiring so can take the <br />opportunity to actu~]~ly hear a drop forge hammer in operation. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Howell noted that Mr. Duggan should also <br />be present to discuss issues contained in the conditional use permit <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Shum~ay, Deemer, Hendriksen, LaDue and Howell. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Request For A Conditional Use Permit To Extract Aqgregates <br /> And Establish A Bituminous Asphalt Operation In The I-1 <br /> Industrial District: Case Of Barton Sand And Gravel Company: <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson stated that the residents have expressed concern <br />regarding the impact to adjacent residential property values resulting frcm <br />the asphalt operation. <br /> <br />Mr. Vic Bunis - 7101 149th Lane - Stated that the most appropriate people <br />to do a market appraisal would be independent appraisors and realtors° <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Sauer of Barton Sand and Gravel stated that denying a building <br />permit to someone meeting all the necessary requirements based on the <br />opinion of an appraisor is getting into legal issues.
