That the Council, in its discretion, may review and modify the above <br />policy in those situations where the expense of serving on a committee exceeds <br />the above allowance and this expense is proven to the Council by appropriate <br />documentation and the City Council finds that it is in the City's best interests <br />to pay the added cost in order to insure City representation at the meetings in <br />question. <br /> <br /> 7. That the Council will indicate which activity the expenditure above <br />discussed will be funded through and~ after ascertaining the total approximate <br />cost of each committee appointment, the appropriate budgeting action will be <br />directed.
