Voting yes _~_., . <br /> Voting no /~Flj~ . <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF INDUSTRIAL <br /> <br />REVENUE BOND AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE, REQUEST FOR; CASE OF. <br />PRESTRESS CONCRETE: <br /> <br />Prestress Concrete will be requesting that Council adopt a :reSolution <br />giving preliminary approval and setting public hearing date for the <br />industrial revenue bond which is for the improvement of the present <br />facility. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the above <br />said request. However, Council's policy has always been to encourage <br />the use of industrial revenue bonds for industry. Council will have to <br />adopt a resolution which will be available' at the meeting. Please refer to resolution file for Resolution <br /> #83- <br /> Motion carried, voting. yes .... .~.~ ~[. . <br /> voting no ./~7_ ~,t · <br /> <br />CASE #6: CHANGING OF MUSA (MUNICIPAL UTILITY SERVICE AREA) LINE BOUNDARY: <br /> <br />We will have a map at the Council. meeting shoWing the preSent line and <br />our recommended change to the MUSA line'~boundary. <br /> <br />CASE #7: STAFFING OF PERSONNEL: ............... . ................. ..... <br /> <br />~ue request to hire a Data Processing/Accounting Clerk was made in <br />February 1983 to the Personnel Committee and was referred to the Council <br />by that committee. The Council tabled it at their meeting until all <br />C0uncilmembers were present to review the subject request. Accordingly, <br />the following is hereby submitted on this case: <br /> <br />Background: The position of Data Processing/Accounting Clerk was not <br />budgeted for this calendar year as we thought that we would be able to <br />get a handle on the workload. However, that has not been the case as <br />we have only found ourselves getting further and further behind. Con- <br />sequently, I don't see anything changing in the future,'in fact, I only <br />see an increase in workload. Enclosure (D2-e) contains the Council <br />Personnel Committee minutes dated February 16, 1983 and March 8, 1983 <br />and Council minutes dated February 22, 1983 which are furnished for your <br />information. <br /> <br /> <br />
