If any restoration along the street is required, it is proposed that this work

be completed by the property owners.

STREET IMPROVEMENT

The existing streets are proposed to be graded and shaped to accommodate the
suburban street section as shown on Exhibit B. The proposed street consists of
a 26 feet wide bituminous surface with four inch (4") bituminous berms on each
side of the street to contain drainage. The street section consists of a three
inch (3") gravel base with a minimum 1-1/2" bituminous surface. This section
is equivalent to a 5-ton design in accordance with the Minnesota Department of
Transporation specifications. This street section has been used successfully
in the other areas of the city. It is estimated that this street section has a
life expectancy of 15 years with minimal maintenance.

The proposed construction generally would not include any driveway construction
with the exception of a one foot (l') apron which would be provided to protect
the edge of the pavement on the rural cross-section street. It would be the
homeowner's responsibility to extend existing bituminous or concrete driveways
to match the street. In special cases, if the street grades are revised to
require driveway adjustments, those adjustments would be made as part of the
project.

STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT

Drainage from the street would be directed to the proposed ponding areas in
Sorteberg's 2nd Addition or to the ditches along Armstrong Boulevard and
Variolite Street.

-2-
