Readings <br />shall be submitted at least quarterly to the pumper and the council. <br />Readings shall be used to establish the amount of sewage pumped and <br />hauled. <br /> <br /> CONTRACT <br /> <br />A contract for disposal and treatment of the sewage wastes shall be <br />maintained by the homeowner or pumper with a municipal±ty, agency or <br />firm established for that purpose. <br /> <br />ACCI DENTAL OVERFLOW <br /> <br />Holding tanks shall be monitored to minimize the chance of accidental <br />sewage overflows. Techniques such as visual observation, warning lights <br />or bells, or regularly scheduled pumping shall be installed which allows <br />twenty-five percent (25%) reserve capacity after actuation. <br /> <br />Subd. 5 01]-IER SYSTEMS <br /> <br />Where unusual conditions exist, special systems of treatment and dis- <br />posa], other than those specifically mentioned above may be employed, <br />provided: - - <br /> <br />a. Reasonable assurance of performance of such system <br /> is presented to the council; <br />b. The engineering design of such system is first <br /> approved by the council; <br /> c. There is no discharge to the ground surface or to <br /> surface waters; <br />d. Treatment and disposal of wastes is in such a manner <br /> so as to protect the public health and general wel- <br /> fare; <br />e. Such systems comply with all applicable requirements <br /> of these standards and with all local codes and <br /> ordinances; <br /> f. Design criteria is reported to the agency within <br /> one (1) month after installation of the system, <br /> where use of such system is allowed by the council; <br />g. Performance of such system be monitored and reported <br /> to the agency annually for a period of at least five <br /> (5) years after installation, including continual <br /> monitoring of water used (See Chapter 150.014H Subd. 2). <br /> <br />SETBACK REQUI REbMNT <br /> <br />No setback requirement shall be imposed in the Urban Area, except in <br />cases where drainfie].ds are insta]led on property sloping greater than <br />four (4) feet horizontal to one (1) foot vertical. In cases where <br />said sJopes are greater than 4:1, no drainfield trench shall be <br />located closer than six (6) feet from the ground surface as measured <br />bor~zonta]]y from the trench bottom. <br /> <br /> <br />
