ALLEN PEARSON: <br /> <br /> Allen Pearson who operates the Pearson farm located on West Highway #10 <br /> and Bowers Drive is requesting authorization to subdivide by metes and bounds <br /> a parcel of land approximately two acres in size adjacent to Bowers Drive <br /> so he can construct a dwelling which will be both close to his farming opera- <br /> tion and his elderly mother who occupies the farm house. The subdivision <br /> would be from Parcel 10 which is 20+ acres in size and would be 200 feet in <br /> depth along Bowers Drive. While this does not comply with the subdivision <br /> ordinance, we do feel that granting the variance would be in keeping with <br /> the intent of the ordinance as the density would be at one per ten acres. <br /> <br /> The other alternate to this request would be to have Mr. Pearson request a <br /> x~oard of Adjustment variance to place a second dwelling on Plat 89230, Parcel <br />10. Should choose to an approval of please be advised <br /> you <br /> grant <br /> some <br /> type, <br /> that E. Q. B. approval is still necessary. <br /> <br /> Council Action: Your action in this matter will be to approve/disapprove <br /> of Mr. Pearson's request to subdivide by metes and bounds a parcel of 2+ <br /> acres in size from Flat 89230, Parcel 10. If your action is to disapprove, <br /> 'then you probably should indicate to Mr. Pearson how you would feel about a <br /> Board of Adjustment variance. This however could not be an official action <br /> at this time. A copy of the % section sheet showing the property in question <br /> is included as enclosure (D3-a) for your information. <br /> <br /> CASE #5: MOBIL_______~E HOM_____~E P___~_~ I~N REGARD~S T_~O ZONIN__G: <br /> ~'~ ~ Enclosure (D3-b) contains my response to Mr. Dick Hajek who is considering <br /> ~L ~ ~ buying a tract of land from Mr. Menkveld for a mobile home park providing <br /> ~ ~ ~ it has mobile home zoning.
