I
I

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
!
I
I
I
I

3)

4)

e) Metro Transportation Development Guide/Policy Plan for 2000 -

I met with the County Engineer and his Assistant Engineer in regards
to this document. They don't seem to attach too much importance
to it. However, they might be right in one sense but I think it
is very important to us in the future as to how they, the Metro
Co~n¢il, propose to handle our transportation needs. The net result
of our meeting was that we would initiate our comments to the Metro
Council with a copy to Anoka County.

Personnel - I have enclosed two letters in the C-1 section of this agenda
commending our City Staff personnel.

a)

The letter from our Bond Fiscal Agent really should only commend
Mrs. Sheila Beyer because she handles that complex job soley on
her own which is quite an undertaking when you add in all the other
parts of setting up the special assessment records. I think Council
should note this letter in their minutes.

The letter from Mr. Miller commending Officer David Gustafson in
solving a theft case is a fine tribute to our police department.
Council should note this letter in the Council minutes.

Comments: As I have stated many times, it is a real pleasure to work with
such a sharp group as we have at Ramsey.

Add On To the Agenda - The agenda has been closed out, consequently I would
like to add a case at the meeting in regards to establishing a policy in
handling our due accounts.

LGS: pj c
