Creighton, Legal Consultan~/~ ~_~' <br />Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey Cable <br />Communications Conm~ission ' .L// ! <br /> <br />Preliminary Draft Franchise Ordinance <br /> <br />DATE: March 19, 1982 <br /> <br /> As you know, the Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey Cable Commission <br />(the "Commission") has accepted the proposal from Teleprompter <br />Cable Television of the Quad Cities for the purpose of recom- <br />mending that company in a franchise ordinance to the individual <br />four city councils. <br /> <br /> A preliminary draft ordinance for the four cities of <br />the Commission was sent to you with a cover letter dated <br />March 20, 1981 (enclosed). At that time I requested that you <br />familiarize yourself generally with the ordinance and review <br />it from ~our individual city perspective. Some.called to dis- <br />cuss portions of the ordinance but no serious questions or <br />problems were raised at. that time. <br /> <br />The process has been delayed for a number of reasons <br />but we have now finalized a draft of the ordinance incorporating <br /> <br /> <br />
